Description

Including digital literacy competences in education and training is an important priority of the European Commission. These guidelines were developed by DG EMPL with the support of the Expert Group on Tackling Disinformation and Promoting Digital Literacy through Education and Training in order to provide hands-on guidance for teachers and educators in relation to digital literacy, education and training. The objective is to generate a broader understanding of digital literacy, promote the responsible and safe use of digital technologies, and foster better public awareness and knowledge about disinformation. The guidelines are intended for primary school teachers and educators.
