Description

Climate change poses a major threat to livelihoods and demands urgent action. Greening TVET is essential for a fair, sustainable transition by equipping all individuals with skills to support environmental goals. It promotes resilience, inclusivity, and transformation across all sectors - not just green jobs.

As most countries lack systematic integration of green skills in TVET, this guidance tool developed by the ILO supports policymakers, educators, and social partners in developing greener TVET systems, to accelerate change and ensure everyone can contribute to and benefit from the green transition.
