Description
New challenges have heightened the need for all individuals to develop capabilities and competencies beyond foundational skills. In public and academic discourse, the focus has shifted towards problem-solving, critical thinking, ability to cooperate, creativity, computational thinking, self-regulation, adaptability, communication and learning to learn. Among other skills, creativity is widely acknowledged as vital for progress in knowledge societies and innovation-driven economies. This JRC report provides a literature review of creativity concepts and practices in international, European, and national frameworks.
