Automotive industry at a crossroads

The European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training (Cedefop) developed a report exploring the automotive industry, the recent skills and employment trends, and where the industry is expected to head in the future. It explores the impact recent trends and events have had on the European automotive industry, particularly the COVID-19 pandemic and technological innovation. It includes projections on the job growth and skills demand expected in the coming decade in order to identify where VET and policy efforts should be placed.
