Description

This EU report explores the alignment between AI-related education and labour market demand, based on an analysis of 2024–2025 master’s and short courses alongside 2020–2023 ICT job ads.

Findings show education largely matches demand in AI subdomains but is overly concentrated in ICT, risking shortages in sectors like health and agriculture. Short courses support rapid upskilling, while AI ethics and generative AI are emerging in curricula. The study recommends expanding micro-credentials, integrating AI across disciplines, and monitoring evolving job trends to ensure a competitive, inclusive, and future-ready AI workforce in the EU.
