RSP for TCLF Nouvelle-Aquitaine

Leading organisation: Nouvelle-Aquitaine region

Launched: July 2026

Ambition

The Regional Skills Partnership for TCLF Nouvelle-Aquitaine aims to help companies strengthen their ability to respond to transformations in the textile, clothing, leather and footwear (TCLF) sector.

In Nouvelle‑Aquitaine (France), economic, technological and environmental transitions are accelerating, highlighting the need for stronger coordination among regional actors. Despite its diversity, the sector lacks a structured framework to address complex challenges collectively.

In this context, the Partnership brings together key regional stakeholders to support companies, organise training pathways and promote sectoral attractiveness. The goal is to create a modern, sustainable and resilient skills ecosystem.

Commitments

The Partnership commits to the following set of actions:

  • Develop new training engineering across eco‑design, textile recycling, trainer training and circular economy compliance.
  • Support ecological, regulatory and digital transitions through training modules on new regulations, digital traceability, data management and reliability, and emerging technologies including artificial intelligence (AI).
  • Strengthen upskilling, secure existing skills and support recruitment by facilitating access to training, supporting companies in transmitting know-how and offering HR tools and tailored support.
  • Design digital tools, interactive resources and collaborative workshops to support sector transitions and modernise professional practices.
  • Boost occupational attractiveness and mobilise companies to highlight best practices, encourage knowledge exchange and reinforce territorial dynamics.

Impact

These commitments will help TCLF companies in Nouvelle‑Aquitaine manage sector transitions and secure the skills needed to remain competitive.

The Partnership will also monitor developments in AI, assess it impact on jobs and skills, and progressively integrate these themes into training and company support systems.

In addition, access to training will be expanded, while new pedagogical tools will modernise professional practices and strengthen career attractiveness.

The Partnership will also contribute to European cooperation through its involvement in the TCLF SkillBridge project between 2025 and 2026.
