Against a background of staff shortages in the healthcare sector post-Covid 19 and a need to upskill, the Autonomous Province of Bolzano and ProMIS organise an event on the 27th September 2023.

The Digital Steps – Growth to the Business project aimed to improve the digital capabilities of small and medium-sized companies in South Savo, Finland. The project conducted digital skills surveys with over 250 companies, identifying each company’s skills gaps.

The European Skills Festival was held on the 9th of May as part of Europe Day, aiming to showcase the work done by organisations and individuals to up and reskill in the context of the green and digital transitions.

The first Pact for Skills Annual Survey assesses progress made up to December 2022 in upskilling and reskilling people of working age through collaboration and partnerships. 461 registered Pact members participated in the survey from February to March 2023.

As part of the European Year of Skills, the European Commission is organising the Making Skills Count Conference, taking place on the 8th and 9th of June online and in Brussels.
