European Commission publishes 2023 Erasmus+ call for proposals and Programme Guide

We are pleased to inform you that the European Commission has now published the 2023 Erasmus+ call for proposals and Programme Guide. With an estimated budget of €26.2 billion for 2021-2027, the Erasmus+ programme is increasing its support for inclusion, active citizenship and democratic participation, and the green and digital transformations, both in the EU and internationally.

Based on open calls for project applications, if you are a public or private body active in the fields of education, training, youth or sport, you can apply for funding under Erasmus+. You can find the application form templates for all action types here.

Following the 2022 European Year of Youth, in 2023 Erasmus+ will continue to ensure that the voices of young people in the EU and beyond are heard, especially through increased funding for youth activities. In addition to encouraging the green transition in educational sector projects, the programme will continue to strive for carbon-neutrality by promoting sustainable transport modes and more environmentally responsible behaviours. Projects and activities delivered under the Erasmus+ 2023 call will feed into the EU's commitment to upskilling and reskilling, providing a valuable contribution to the 2023 European Year of Skills.

The call for proposals and the Programme Guide include, amongst other actions, the Alliances for Innovation. Alliances for Innovation aim to strengthen Europe’s capacity for innovation by boosting cooperation and knowledge sharing among higher education, vocational education and training (VET) and the broader socio-economic environment (including research). They also aim to boost the provision of new skills and address skills mismatches by designing and creating new curricula for higher education and VET. Find out more about the Alliances for Innovation here.
